A LIFESAVER AND HER SUNSHINE SISTER

This picture came in this week of my friend, Daisy Lowe, lying in a field with her ‘sunshine sister’ both dressed in The Vampire’s Wife. I cannot begin to express how much I owe Daisy. A few months after my son, Arthur died Daisy rang me and asked me to make her a dress to wear to the GQ Awards. It was such a strange and impossible request. How could I do such a thing? I literally dragged myself out of bed and began working on her dress. I found, to my astonishment, that I could function. I poured my soul into that dress, and when Daisy wore it to the GQ awards, my God, she looked so beautiful. I was so happy.
