The Sky Rocket.
Cut from shimmering liquorice black metallic silk-lamé, The Sky Rocket dress features a fitted bodice and a street-sweeping flared skirt. Chevron bodice seaming, long line puff sleeves and chevron frill detailing. Gathered frills adorn the neck, sleeve and embellish the skirt. Centre back concealed zip closure. Lined with black silk chiffon. Length measures 117cm from waist to hem.

Upper: 56% wool, 22% polyester, 22% silk
Lining: 85% silk, 15% polyester

 

 

This very fine quality silk lamé is fragile and should be worn with care. The delicate silk threads achieve a beautiful depth of colour and texture but results in lamé that is easily snagged. We recommend that after each wear any loose threads should be carefully trimmed. The raw edged hem will fray with wear and is part of the design aesthetic.
