The lost photograph – teenage Susie shot by Helmut Newton for the Pirelli Calendar

The original version was never launched because Newton was forced to stop shooting due to personal family issues. Helmut Newton’s photos lay unpublished for many years. For their 50^th anniversary Pirelli finally published the calendar.

Here is Susie, aged eighteen, resting by a giant tractor wheel. Even then she was wearing the Vampire’s Wife!
