“Hey, babe, Kate Moss just told French Vogue that I’m the most glamorous women she knows!”
That’s me. I’m bragging to my husband, who is sitting at his desk working.
“Well, she got that right.”
“It’s been ages since I’ve spoken to her,” I say.
“You should ring her and tell her that you love her.”
“Hey, do you remember when Kate and I jumped on stage with you at that charity gig and we played tambourine on Stagger Lee?”
“That was the most terrifying ten minutes of my life.”
“I had a tambourine bruise on my leg for weeks,” I say.
“Well, you shouldn’t play tambourine in a mini dress. Everyone knows that. You played it good though. Spirited!”
“It’s a hidden talent,” I say.
My husband starts writing.
“Ring Kate,” he says.
“Okay,” I say.
